After Lebron announced he was going forward with the heat for a second the city fell silent in disbelief. Moments later people in homes, bars and establishments all over ohio were filled with betrayal. Jerseys were burned and dragged through the streets. People gathered downtown at the infamous King James Nike billboard and proceeded to throw rocks at it. In my neck of the woods the projects were riddled with the sound of gunshots.
You can’t help but wonder why is Cleveland so damn upset!! Was it the fact that he was abandoning a city that showed him endless support? Or is it the fact that clevelands status may drop without him? It wasn’t so long ago that the Cavs were considered rubbish and people were giving away Cavs tickets for nearly free.nintynine now the Cavs are a respectable brand its mostly due to the impact that lebron had during his 7 years with the team.
From what I’ve “witnessed” Lebron can’t play under pressure when it’s counted the most he failed. (no rings) People placed Lebron on a pedistal which was a mistake (lebron aint my Jesus! #allrealeverything) so at the moment the city is hurting. It feels like someone pissed in our coffee and took a duece in our cereal!
