This past sunday Cleveland’s own MGK was on MTV2 giving us kids all that we needed to get through the rest of the week. I watched soooooo many crapy videos waiting for him to get on my TV screen! In the end it was all worth it his freestyle was nuts! Follow him on the twittuh! @machinegunkelly
He labels his sound Urban Eclectic and feels that every new artist needs Substance, Character and Charisma. Young Miz (born in Cleveland relocated to Atlanta GA) is an underdog who puts everything into his music. In our interview he discusses his projects The Lay Over and Misery Music: 13 Theories Of Therapy. I’m anxious to hear both! Check out his music and his interview with me after the jump! (more…)
Identical twins FlySan and Sonic (Born in GA raised in OH) make up the group Frequent Flyer Club. Relatively new to the game the two are making music reflective of their personalities. In my brief Interview with FlySan he speaks on why he feels their group stands out from others and the differences in each others style and rhyme delivery. Check the jump for the Interview and a sample of what Frequent Flyer Club has to offer! (more…)

Kid Cudi – Mojo So Dope|| Download @ We Wore Masks
So Grizzly hates it….but I LIKE IT! I like a lot of Cudi’s new shit. Then again I’m a stan so my opinion is biased so from that fact alone it doesn’t count. I’m slightly upset that the album was pushed back but I’m anxious to see the final product. I pray for great things.
Well kids for me yesterday was another day that ended with my hair and clothes smelling like cheap Cuyahoga weed and sewer water, but when I look back its all worth it. Everything is slightly a blur, drunken college girls crowd surfing, people chanting “FUCK LEBRON -clap, clap, clap-clap-clap-” and high ass guys crowd surfing and pushing their way into the crowd to get a better view. My memory is shady because I’m still experiencing a small buzz from all the weed smoke I inhaled.
Everything kicked off crazy early but I didn’t get down to the event until around 6. I got there during MGK’s performance I never seen him live and I think I’m a fan of his now. Dude has some serious stage presence usually the opening acts suck but his was the only good one. Now lets skip to the main attraction When Cudi got on stage it was greatness. The crowd had some amazing energy even before REVOFEV came on. It was the perfect start honestly. He performed some classics like Day n Nite he also killed Cudi Zone everyone vibed out to that shamelessly singing way off key! I can’t even explain everything the experience was crazy I had a great time peep the vid for a little taste of what went down Including Cudi getting a show goer in check!
Last Thursday Cleveland (MY CITY!) Got dumped on national television by Lebron James. His decision to go to Miami didn’t only hurt Cleveland but Ohio as a whole. On my way to Summer Jam I passed his mural downtown and saw it being removed and it felt different. Ohio showed up at Time Warner Amphitheater yesterday in numbers that amazed me. As I looked out on stage all I saw was a sea of people with nothing but support for our city proving the saying true; “One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show.” Check the cut for more (more…)
